Overview

Glance is a browser extension that connects to your Google Calendar to show today’s events and notify you before upcoming video calls. This policy explains what data is accessed, how it is used, and what is never collected.

Data stored locally in your browser

The following data is stored exclusively in browser.storage.local on your device and is never transmitted to any server other than Google’s own APIs:

Data never collected

Third-party services

Google APIs

Glance uses the Google Calendar API (read-only) and Google OAuth 2.0 to authenticate and fetch your events. Your use of these services is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

Glance’s use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

OAuth proxy (Cloudflare Worker)

To complete the OAuth token exchange securely, the extension communicates with a self-hosted proxy at glance-oauth.martorana.workers.dev. This proxy handles only the code-for-token exchange with Google and immediately redirects the tokens back to your browser. No tokens or personal data are stored or logged on this server.

Your rights

You can delete all data stored by Glance at any time by removing the extension from your browser. This permanently deletes all locally stored tokens, account metadata, and cached events.

You can also revoke Glance’s access to your Google account at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions.
